What's Up in Stallion Springs?

Chief Mike Grant watches checks out the new radio system.

Stallion Springs CSD has installed a new radio system for better communications between the field staff and the office. The new system will replace the current cellular phone system which had many dead areas in the community. The cell system often required the field staff to leave a work location and find a spot where they could call from to get parts or assistance on a project and they often missed a call from the office about a problem due to the lack of service. With the new radios and full coverage of the community, the staff will be able to better respond to problems that come up. The police department will also have access to the radio system as a backup for the police radios and to call for assistance in emergencies.
