Come join us for our 37th Annual Tortoise Days and help us make History! The Parade will be on April 29, at 10 a.m. It runs from Ace Hardware to Friends Tires on Cal City Blvd.
Central Park Festivities will be located at 10400 Heather Ave. California City, 93505 10:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sat. Admission $1 for ages 5 & up.
Come join us for live vibrant Irish music with Mayde in Ireland, mouth -watering food, skillfully made crafts, art show, 50/50 raffle, kids arena, live tortoise, photos with the mascot, antiques and collectables.
Sunday, April 30, 7 to 11 a.m. Carp a Diem Kids Fishing Derby sponsored by AV Audubon and Amaysing Fishing Bait & Tackle. Must pre-register on Sat for the free event. Youth 5-15yr. Lots of great prizes!
A Whimsical Weekend Art Exhibit will run Saturday April 29 from 10 to 4 p.m. and Sunday April 30 from 11 to 3 p.m. at the California City Arts and Community Center, 10400 Heather Ave in Central Park during Tortoise Days weekend. Celebrate with Churches in the park from 10 to 2 p.m.
