The Stallion CERT team held triage training at the March meeting. The team practiced how to determine various types of injuries and set priorities on further assistance.

The theme of the Stallion Springs CERT monthly training on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Stallion Springs EOC, will be Evacuation Planning for our Animals. Will you know what to do with your animals after that inevitable disaster such as when a wildland fire strikes our communities? Do you have a plan?  Have you shared that plan with others?

All residents are invited to attend the meeting, not just those who have participated in the CERT Basic classes.  The safety of our residents as well as our beloved animals is critical for all and is a focus of the CERT program.  Plan to attend as we together build a partnership with our Stallion Springs CERT team and our residents.

Cheers to Charity, Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017. Mary Beth Garrison has again asked SSCERT to assist with this event to be held at the Tehachapi Airport.  SSCERT will assist with parking and whatever else is needed. This is a great training opportunity for us as well as a fund-raising activity.

Property Owners' Association

Tehachapi City Manager, Greg Garrett gave a presentation on the city's annual report. He discussed finance, public works, administration, economic development and its effects on the Tehachapi area.

It was announced that a committee has been formed for the annual formal dance. A date has yet to be set but the plans are in motion.

Stallion Springs Board of Directors

Meet on the third Tuesday of every month. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 18, 21, at 6 p.m. at the CSD Board Room.

If you're having issues, we want to hear about them. Note that we cannot accept anonymous complaints due to judicial review process requirements. However, your information will be kept anonymous unless judicial proceedings require disclosure. A form is available on line at Stallionspringscsd.com. Use this form for CC&R, Municipal Code violations or Road Issues within the CSD, do not use this form for animal complaints. Your complaint will be handled in the order it was received. You will be notified as to the status/investigation into your complaint. A due diligence report will be created based on your complaint and other complaints that may have been received for the same issue. You may fill out the electronic form or print a copy of the form and turn it in to the SSCSD office.
