Tehachapi GranFondo opens registration for 2017

The 2017 Tehachapi GranFondo has opened rider registration for the Sep. 16 event on its website http://TehachapiGranFondo.com
The City of Tehachapi is excited to announce several top sponsors are already on board for the signature cycling event that rides through the beautiful Tehachapi communities and starts in Historic Downtown Tehachapi. Kaiser Permanente, BHE Renewables, the Lehigh Southwest Cement Company and Sangera Subaru have signed on as key sponsors for the 2017 Tehachapi GranFondo.
The three time "Best Century" in California (named by Cycle California Magazine) will be looking to host its fourth consecutive incredible experience for cyclists, supporters and all who participate in one of the five courses.
The GranFondo is 104 miles of challenging terrain with more than 7,000 feet of climb and descent.
MedioFondo covers 86 miles of local roads with more than 5,000 feet of climb and descent.
PiccoloFondo+ is the Metric Century covering 60 miles and nearly 3,800 vertical feet of climb.
PiccoloFondo is a scenic 38 mile journey through the foothills of Tehachapi with more than 2,000 vertical feet of climb and descent.
Finally the FunFondo is 18 miles of rolling hills with less than 1,000 of total climb.
Several sponsorship and Festival vendor opportunities are available but will fill up quickly.
