A Child's Christmas in Wales to open soon

TCT Spotlight

Pat Doody

Director, Nick Altieri, brings to life the wonderful, lyrical prose of this Dylan Thomas poem, with special adaptation and musical direction by Deborah Hand Cutler. Children's direction is provided by Jeannette Crounse.

In this production, we experience Christmas with all the wonder and innocence of a Welsh child in a simpler time, where the holidays take on a fairytale like quality of treasured memories with family and friends, sprinkled with Christmas carols, under a magical cover of snow. It will warm you on the inside like a nice cup of cocoa and ignite you with the holiday spirit!

Alexander MacKenzie is the young Dylan, with Bill Kritlow as the adult Dylan/Narrator. Also featured in singing roles are Christina Scrivner as Dylan's mom, Ali Whitlach and Sharon Salyers as aunties. Accomplished musicians, Jodi Stauffer on guitar, and Jeff Thorsnes on fiddle, provide accompaniment..
