Dale Hawkins' telescope gave everyone excellent views of the Moon, Mars, Saturn, and Venus.
A beautiful and successful evening thanks to the Ciy of Tehachapi , the Greater Tehachapi Astronomers, Friends of the Airport, the Antelope Valley Astronomy Club, the Tehachapi Society of Pilots, NASA Armstrong Flight Reserach Center, and many other volunteers.
A young astronomer is awed by a live video projection of the Moon's craters and mountains.
