Connie Begay

Meet artist Connie Begay at the Antelope Valley Indian Museum on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Connie is a proud member of the Diné "Navajo" tribe. She makes bead necklaces and earrings.

Connie began making jewelry and crafts for fundraising events and silent auction donations, but now it is her full-time job. She sells at several Pow Wows and events during the year.
