District Librarian updates School Board

District Librarian Ramona Turmezei updated the School Board on the new services available through the school libraries. Turmezei, who is based at THS, said that aside from updating their physical book collections, library services now include instruction in the use of Google Slides and Powerpoint to teach students to create presentations and use flash drives.
"The goal is to prepare students for the real world," said Turmezei. Use of online search sites like Destiny by Follett, World Book Online and Gale Student Resources are encouraged and students start to use online services in elementary school.
