South Street Days Event

The Loop's Local Scene

Vendors lined both sides of South Street.

Saturday, July 23 was the very first South Street Days event. They had vendors spreading out from Pioneer True Value, to Savannah's Saloon. It was so enjoyable to be introduced to businesses that are off the beaten path. They all feature a vast array of talents.

Windswept Ranch provided the camels.

The event had fun for kids of all ages including camel rides, petting zoo, and unicorn rides for the children. Then for the auto enthusiasts there were hot rods, and demolition cars on display. For the chef, home-maker, and crafters there was tupperware, jewelry, arts-n-crafts, and even t-shirts, screen printed on the spot.

Some of the businesses that took part in this event were South Street Digital, Ultimate Ink, Old Town Tattoo, Pepper Palette, Tehachapi RV & Cycle, Brad's Mobile Blasting, Visions, Blue Oak Coffee Roasting, P-Dub's, Air Tight Heating & Air, Savannah's Old Town Saloon, Ashmore Motors, Prime Signs, Pioneer True Value, and Thai Palms. They are hard working folk that contribute to our growing town. Thank you to all those involved in working behind the scenes to make this event. It was nice to get to know the small businesses that desire to serve our community. Mission accomplished!
