San Joaquin Community Hospital had so much fun at the Tehachapi National Night Out! in 2015 in Tehachapi. From silly props at the photo booth, to teaching Hands-Only CPR. Thanks for coming out to be a part of such a great event in 2015! Be sure not to miss it this year.

The Tehachapi Police Department and the City of Tehachapi are again hosting its annual "National Night Out" event. National Night Out is a communitybuilding campaign that promotes policecommunity partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our community and neighborhoods safer, better places to live.

This year's celebration will be held at Tehachapi's Central Park on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., followed by the "Movie in the Park" at 9 p.m.

At 8:30 p.m. we will join for a "Glow Walk" around the Central Park neighborhood to show our support for preventing crime, bullying of our youth, and drug abuse. Glow sticks will be provided, but feel free to bring a flashlight. Police demonstrations and public safety informational booths will be showcased throughout the evening.

Chief Kent Kroger says "National Night Out is an opportunity to bring Tehachapi residents together with the Tehachapi Police Officers who protect them. Preventing and solving crime is a community effort. National Night Out is one of the events we look forward to each year".

The communities of Bear Valley Springs and Stallion Springs will also be hosting National Night Out events in their communities in order to make attendance more convenient for their residents. Information and locations are available by calling either the Bear Valley Springs Police Department or the Stallion Springs Police Department.

For additional information about Tehachapi's National Night Out, call the Tehachapi Police Department at (661) 822-2222.
