City Manager Greg Garrett and Mayor Susan Wiggins presented Mark and Jessie Milano with a Certificate of Recognition for their generous donation of the entry monument to the Tehachapi Event Center and Rodeo Grounds. Garrett said that he first met the Milanos when they moved to Bear Valley Springs from Pasadena about 25 years ago. They have always loved the community and have made significant donations to the Tehachapi Mountain Rodeo Association and essentially to the City of Tehachapi. Mr. Milano thanked the City Council for their vision and commitment in making the event center a better place for everyone.
