EOD Robot Visits The Loop's Booth

Lions Club of Tehachapi

The Tehachapi Lions Club would like to thank the community of Tehachapi and visitors to Tehachapi for supporting their fund raiser to send care packages to the deployed Explosive Ordnance Disposal Airmen from the 812th Civil Engineering Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base. The Lions are able to send care packages for the fourth year in a row to our airmen due to our generous patrons purchasing hot dogs at the Lions Hot Dog Booth during the July 4th Hot Dog Festival at City Park. The Lions were joined at their booth by the EOD Airmen as well as some of the tools that they use to diffuse bombs when they are overseas and here at home. If you'd like to know more about the Lions, what they do in our community and how you might become a volunteer, please call (661) 822-7583.
