Introductory flights provided for young people ages 8-17

Two young adventures Sydnee Liebman, and her brother Hudsen, prepare for a flight from pilot and Bearhawk owner Russ Erb, at Saturdays Young Eagles Program.

Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 1000 and the Tehachapi Society of Pilots (TSP) members provided flights to young adults ages 8 to 17 on Saturday Oct. 3. This is part of the EAA's "Young Eagles" Program. The prospective flyers must be accompanied by a parent who will be required to sign a waiver.

Twenty-minute flights were provided free of charge. Last year 13 rides were provided and this year there were 39 rides from 12 planes.
