What's up in Stallion Springs?

Welcome Lori Rodgers, the new General Manager of the Stallion Springs CSD.

New General Manager on board

After an extensive search, the CSD Board of Directors has hired local resident Lori Rodgers as the new General Manager. Lori comes to the CSD from the Kern County Department of Agriculture and Measurement Standard, where she worked for over 15 years. She has worked with various county, state and federal agencies. Lori has nine state licenses ranging from Management Eligibility to Program Enforcement and has received Leadership/Supervisory training from Kern County Administration. Lori took the helm effective July 11, 2015.

After just a few days on the job Lori said, "Everybody works really hard. I'm really impressed with the staff, they've taken on a lot of extra stuff. Mike Grant has done an awesome job of keeping me updated and on the right path. I'm enjoying it."

Retired Police Chief Brad Burris acted as Interim General Manager for part of the time during the search with current Police Chief Mike Grant acting as Interim Assistant General Manager. When Burris became unavailable, Chief Grant took over doing double duty as Interim General Manager and Chief of Police.
