Mayor Susan Wiggins presented a proclamation of support from the City of Tehachapi and the Tehachapi City Council to Kern Citizens for Energy at the May 4 council meeting. The proclamation accepted by Rachel Glauser (on left) recognized the enormous contribution of the oil and gas industry to the economy of Kern County, the state of California and the nation in the areas of jobs, tax revenue and philanthropy.
