[Editors note: Imagine waking up to a lawn full of pink flamingos. My neighbor did just that and my curiousity took over, I had to find out what the heck is that all about? With a little investive reporting we got the full story from Youth Pastor Goose Ramos.]

The Student Ministry at Tehachapi Church of the Nazarene, is doing a fundraiser to help send 14 High School students and three adult sponsors to the Nazarene Youth Conference this summer from July 7 - 14 in Louisville, Ky. This conference, which hosts over eight-thousand students and student leaders from all over the US and Canada, is designed to give an opportunity for worship, discipleship, service, celebration and leadership development. Each student and adult sponsor is working hard at raising the $1,900 each to be able to take part in this event.

We are doing Flamingo Flockings!

You can 'hire' our students to flock a friend's lawn/yard with plastic pink flamingos.

All we need is the name of the 'victim' to be flocked, their address, and the size of the flocking! Please call the church at (661) 822-4426 to order your flock and/or to donate.

The sizes and pricing is as follows:

Small Flock (10 Flamingos) - $20 Donation

Medium Flock (25 Flamingos) - $30 Donation • Large Flock (35 Flamingos) - $40 Donation

Super Size Flock (50 Flamingos) - $50 Donation

We would also need the name, and phone number of the person ordering the flocking.
