Retired NBA player, Mr. Ken Austin will speak to students, parents and the community at large on Saturday, Mar. 21, 2015, at the California City High School gymnasium, 8567 Raven Way, California City doors open at 10:30 am.
He is a dynamic motivational speaker who will share his journey and how education played a major role in his success on and off the court as well as share vital information on how to obtain college scholarship opportunities. There will be a prize given to the school with the best attendance, this gift will be a great addition to any trophy case. Also, signed NBA basketballs will be raffled away.
