Tehachapi Police Explorer Academy Graduation

On Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, the Tehachapi Police Department recognized their first Explorer Academy Graduates. The Explorer Academy is a 7 week program that introduces local youth to the law enforcement profession. The training and coursework provided was designed to promote their growth and development for future careers in law enforcement or any other chosen profession.
Twelve local teenagers dedicated themselves and successfully completed this challenging and demanding program. Congratulations to all of our graduates!
The Tehachapi Police Department is currently accepting and screening applications from qualified young men and women between the ages of 14 and 21 for future classes.
